Our flagship sparkling Balfour Brut Rosé was the first English Sparkling wine to be served in BA First Class and the official English wine of the London 2012 Olympic games.
Across the verdant flats from Barnsole stand the mighty walls of the Roman fort of Richborough. It is here, in the garden of England, that the first Pinot Noir vines arrived with the Legions in 44A.D..Barnsole perpetuates this viticultural tradition of two millennia by growing Pinot Noir, along with other grape varieties, to make quintessential English wines.
Located within the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Bewl Water Vineyard abuts the largest body of fresh water in South East England and its gentle southerly slopes of Wadhurst clay create a unique growing environment and a frost-free microclimate.,

In 1969, one third of an acre of vines was planted and Biddenden Vineyards was born. Today the estate vineyard spans 23 acres of gentle south facing slopes where 12 different grape varieties are grown.

Set in a beautiful village at the foot of the North Downs, Brabourne Vineyard is ideally placed to grow the best quality grapes. Our first harvest of just Pinot Noir in 2017 was followed by a bumper harvest of both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in 2018. This harvest provided enough grapes for a still Rose, released in 2019, as well as a sparkling White.
The adventure began in 2017 when we found our perfect field: Brissenden’s seven acres of established vines.
Our idyllic vineyard is well-established, and features wide avenues and aisles which are the perfect spot for a picnic or to enjoy our wines at the end of a tour.
We own some of the finest vineyards in England, primarily situated on the North Downs of Kent with a terroir very similar to that of Champagne. Our Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Bacchus vines are grown on south facing chalk soils and benefit from a warm, maritime climate. We also source high quality fruit from long-term partner vineyards across Kent, Sussex and Essex, resulting in balanced wines with unique flavour profiles.
The 35 acres of vines sit amongst the 120 acre Wickham Manor Estate, just to the west of the medieval Cinque Port town of Winchelsea, steeped in wine trading history. There are a total of 8 different vineyard blocks, each with its own slightly different soils, and characteristics.
The East Sussex coastal location just a mile from the sea provides a beneficial climate, having higher night time temperatures, reducing the risk of frosts and helping to ripen the grapes. The carefully chosen aspect of the slopes and the soil that the vines are planted in is perfect for growing these varieties of grapes.
The Co-operative Stall is used by those stallholders who are unable to attend the market but still wish to sell their produce. We offer a variety of Rapeseed oils, honey and Greensand Distillery products
In 1991 Will Davenport planted 5 acres of vines at Horsmonden in Kent, while simultaneously working for a Hampshire vineyard and, unintentionally, this became the beginning of a life-long business as a wine producer.There are now 24 acres of vineyards, growing 9 grape varieties mainly in Horsmonden in Kent, with a smaller vineyard next to their winery at Rotherfield, East Sussex.
Product: WinesChampagne Taittinger along with their UK partner Hatch Mansfield Ltd and friends set up Domaine Evremond, by purchasing 69 hectares of farmland at Selling Court Farm in Kent. 40 hectares of this has been planted with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes to produce sparkling wine..
Established in 1985, our Elham Valley Vineyard is the oldest vineyard in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, producing a collection of elegant wines. New vines were planted in 2011, and we now grow Bacchus, Pinot Noir and Seyval varieties over the years to produce a still white, a sparkling white, a Blanc de Noirs and a sparkling rosé.
It is also home to the Fifth Trust , which has been supporting adults with learning disabilities for over 30 years. The Vineyard Garden Centre and Vineyard Café help support our day care service vision and provide rewarding work experience opportunities for our students.
We, Jonica & Gerard Fox, have been growing vines since 2004 and producing wine since 2009. Throughout we have remained true to our first love – crafting limited quantities of top quality Sparkling Wines with a unique English twist. The Vineyard was established in 2019 and certified organic following regenerative and biodynamic principles. We are situated just outside the village of Hamstreet in Kent, in the heart of a real hot spot for quality English wine. In 2019 we planted over 16,000 vines across 10 acres with a mix of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Bacchus and Pinot Gris vines, took our first harvest in 2021 and released our first wines in 2022
Market: Hawkhurst Water LaneA small family owned and run vineyard and winery using traditional methods and minimum intervention to produce handmade wines in Kent England. THis is environment sustaining production at its best. All the wines are from old vines, grown, made and bottled by us at the vineyard. Handmade wines from Harbourne and are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Prior to planting ,the land had been assessed as exceptional for vine growing. The geological strata of chalk, limestone and clay (peppered with flint) is identical to the champagne region. Climactic conditions now make East Kent, and the Canterbury area in particular, an optimum location for growing the champagne varieties.
Product: WinesPlanted in 2007 by Herbert Hall’s great-grandson, Nicholas Hall, on a South-facing 4-degree gravel-seamed clay slope outside the village of Marden in Kent. This warm organic site has consistently produced the earliest and finest fruit on the estate since it was first farmed by Herbert Hall in the 19th Century.
With over 70 acres of vines and several different varietals of grape in the ground, we are able to produce a significant number of bottles per year. We have been operating organically since 2019 as sustainability and the environment is paramount to us, and we want to protect the beauty and quality of our land.
Little Bursted is a brand new Kentish vineyard planted in 2022. It is hidden among the hamlets and pastures of the Pett Bottom valley in the North Downs. Once in production we will specialise in Pinot Meunier led sparkling blanc-de-noirs and rose, with a limited production of still, long lees-aged Melon de Bourgogne
Our vineyards, overlooking Wateringbury, are perfectly positioned on the Greensand Ridge. We also have a weekly rotation of food partners at the winery every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with winery tours available every Saturday and some Sundays, and live music sessions on Fridays and Sundays.
Mudwall vineyard is located near Benenden village. The vineyard sits within a traditional family-owned working farm comprising several hundred acres of farmland, woodlands and wildflower meadows."
We use our organic grass-cutters! sheep to keep the vineyards neat and tidy. They weigh less than a tractor and can get up and down between the vines much more easily !
What started with a passion for wine and Sussex, has turned into an Estate Vineyard dedicated to quality and sustainability. Our desire is to bring the history of the English countryside alive through spectacular wines. Oastbrook is a vineyard on the Kent / Sussex border ,near Bodiam Castle, with still and sparkling wines made on site in our own winery. Our vineyard is a proud member of the Sussex Protected Designation of Origin (PDO), which produces the highest quality of grapes.

Covering 50 acres of land in the heart of Kent, Redhill Farm Estate is cultivates seven different types of grape vines (French, German and Swiss origin grown), using varying soil for each of them. Employing modern techniques to benefit biodiversity and promote the natural ecosystem of the varieties, the focus is on the quality of the plant as much as the quality of the wine made from it.

We also produce tasty wine too and have an extensive award-winning range comprising of whites, rose, red and sparkling wines - all certified organic or biodynamic by the Biodynamic Association UK and suitable for both Vegetarians and Vegans.

Although evidence suggests wine was produced in the Shoreham valley during Roman times, the first vines that were introduced recently at The Mount were 13,000 vines planted in 2004 and comprised seven different varieties:- Pinot Noir, Rondo, Regent, Bacchus, Seyval Blanc, Phoenix and Siegerrebe.

Westwell is located just beneath the Pilgrims Way on the North Downs in Kent; a route used for centuries by Pilgrims travelling to Canterbury. We grow four different varieties - Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Ortega.
Our philosophy is simple: plant well, respect the soil and make great, honest wines from brilliant fruit.
A small family run vineyard in the heart of The Weald of Kent. We planted Chardonnay vines in 2019 on a North/South facing slope. The soil contains a small amount of clay on top of shallow sandstone, and so drains very well. We produced our first wines in 2022.
Product: WinesOur adventure started in 2014 with the purchase of a barren plot of grassland and a shaw of ancient woodland. In 2016 we planted Bacchus, two clones of Pinot Noir (FR1801 and GM1-11) and Regent but had to wait until 2018 for our first harvest.
We produce a wide range of premium quality award-winning wines, both still and sparkling from our aromatic Bacchus white, our mouth watering Pinot Noir rosé and our light bodied fruity Regent red, to our Blanc de Noirs and Rosé de Noirs Traditional Method fizz, plus a cheeky Pink Vermouth.
Graham and Donna Barbour found the perfect site for a vineyard in 2009 and planted 10,000 vines in 2010. The vineyard is 20m above sea level and has the perfect aspect for growing vines. Their first vintage was released in 2015 and they now produce a range of award-winning still and sparkling wines. Woodchurch is a single estate vineyard with over 12 acres of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Meunier and Bacchus producing award winning wines.
Yotes Court Vineyard is a 75-acre vineyard in Kent producing 250+ tonnes of grapes a year. It is one of the first accredited WineGB Sustainable Producers in England. The vineyard is located to the west of Yotes Court, (an English Heritage Grade 1 listed manor house) between the picturesque villages of West Peckham and Mereworth in Kent.
Market: ShipbourneMyatts Rhubarb Fizz is a Rhubarb Sparkling Wine, made using only surplus Rhubarb that would otherwise go to waste because it is outside of supermarket specification, e.g. wonky or too small. It is made using the traditional method of bottle fermentation over 11 months, and was launched in November 2021.
