West Kent Project

In 2009 The West Kent leader programme agreed funding to support farmers markets in their area. This project applied to 11 farmers markets which embrace over 200 rural businesses, active as stallholders or producers.

The project covered six major areas of activity:-

helping marketing managers to market their markets

helping stallholders and producers to market their produce

running training workshops

The basic objective was to enhance the profile of farmers markets throughout Kent.
