Fresh Dough bakery makes pastries and specialty bread only using organic, free range, locally sourced ingredients in Crowborough. We use the best quality raw ingredients, using skills and patience to create delicious sweet and savoury goodies
Originally from Belgium Laura Verbeek moved to London to train as a contemporary dancer. After a very fulfilling life in the performing arts, she started baking in 2016 as a hobby to fill her time whilst on maternity leave. 6 months later she moved to Crowborough and created Fresh Dough Artisan Microbakery.
Working from her kitchen she started her business using domestic ovens, rolling pins and good quality ingredients.
7 years later Laura still believes in using locally sourced, high quality ingredients but has moved all her equipments and skills in a new purpose built building next to her house.
