The farmers' market takes place on the 1st Saturday of every month from 9.30-12.00 in the car park of Penshurst Place. There is plenty of free parking, easy wheelchair access and we welcome everyone, especially families and dogs. Just follow the signs for Penshurst Place Visitors’ car park.

Robin and Carla make Winterdale Cheese which follows the traditional hand made approach using , unpasteurised milk, cloth bound and cellar matured. This produces a cheddar style cheese. In addition they also make a hand ladled Kentish Camembert.Markets: Hildenborough, Penshurst, Shipbourne

Sanden vineyard is located on a south east facing slope on sandy soil. It was originally planted in 1987 and in 2004 was partly replanted with Seyval and Pinot Noir grapes giving the wine a distinctive clean fresh taste and a nose with hints of vanilla and apple. Sanden matures on the lees for a number of years to enhance the flavour and the fine bubbles are the natural product of secondary fermentation in the traditional method. Cider-makers Richard and Paula Wise only began producing in 2014, but have already won the 2015 Taste of Kent Awards Best Cider and Perry.
