About VJ Game

We offer quality, locally sourced seasonal game and make our own unique game burgers plus a variety of  Wild Boar and Venison sausages. 

Background

VJ Game and Sussex Smokers are a well-established, family run Butchers and Smokery providing fresh, high-quality produce located in the rural heart of the East Sussex Countryside. We regularly attend a selection of local farmers markets each week and weekend throughout the year around Surrey, Kent and Sussex. We can take orders from our farmers markets, over the phone, via email or through social media. If you would like anything in particular, or need help with choosing, just give us a call or send a message and one of the team can help source what you are after. 
 
We are a small well established, family run business. All game is local and is cut, prepared and produced by our Master Butcher who is also the owner's Father. Vincent Elliot, the owner, is a registered and licensed Game  
Dealer. 
 
We produce Venison and Wild Boar sausages in a wide variety of flavours. Venison, Wild Boar and Rabbit Burgers. Venison and Wild Boar joints and cuts of meat and all Game Birds when in season. 
 
We also have a Smokery where we smoke over Oak Chippings and produce the finest quality smoked meats, fish and poultry and game. 

Product Description

We sell venison and wild boar joints and cuts of meat as well as Game Birds in season. In addition we make venison, wild boar and rabbit burgers plus venison and wild boar sausages in a wide variety of flavours. 
Sussex Smokers provides a range of traditionally oak smoked meats, fish, cheeses and more. We make handmade, gluten free, oak smoked Chorizo and Toulouse style sausages as well as curing our own bacon and hams. We also oak smoke fish including Mackerel, Local trout, Scottish Salmon, Prawns and Mussels as well as making handmade fish pates.
