The Vineyard was established in 2019 and certified organic following regenerative and biodynamic principles. We are situated just outside the village of Hamstreet in Kent, in the heart of a real hot spot for quality English wine. In 2019 we planted over 16,000 vines across 10 acres with a mix of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Bacchus and Pinot Gris vines, took our first harvest in 2021 and released our first wines in 2022
There’s an old saying that great wines are made in the vineyard and we see organic methods as the best way to produce the quality and purity of fruit required for those wines. Our 35 acres of vines produce around 20% of all organic grapes grown in the UK and we use them to make an increasingly celebrated range of still and sparkling wines. We believe that the future of English wine is organic. The proof is in the bottle.
A small bakery making honest & humble sourdough & pastry. Our goal is to make the best quality produce using quality ingredients sourced from local producers, mindful of biodiversity & sustainability.
Kombucha brewed in small batches, fermented in glass jars, and enjoyed from recycled glass bottles. Crafted with integrity and attention to the smallest of details. Pure and unpasteurised, just as it should be!
All around the site and in the glasshouses will be stalls from craftspeople, makers, and artisan food producers. There will be Christmas trees and potted indoor plants, plus festive food and hot mulled drinks available throughout the day. Entry is £5 per person and children, 16 and under, go free.

Our final market for 2024. We’ll be open from 9am-12pm for all your festive shopping needs with the freshest seasonal fruit, vegetables, bread, pastries, artisan cheese, kombucha, bagels and pasture raised meat and free range eggs, plus Christmas puddings, mince puddings and our Water Lane Pantry.
