Roast Apple Sorbet

Always use the best fruit no bruises or brown spots

Ingredients (Serves 4)

4 apples

1 tbsp butter

4 tbsp soft light brown sugar

Method

1. Wash the apples, cut in half and remove the core, place in a roasting tray, sprinkle with the sugar and butter.

2. Bake in oven at 210°C to caramelize. This should take about 15 mins, by then the apples should be brown and cooked through.

3. Add 200ml of water and blitz until smooth.

4. Place in the freezer or ice cream machine to churn.
