Set on the outskirts of the historic town of Faversham, our flagship store is home to our vast food hall, butchery, delicatessen, café, wine store, food village & events spaces.
Our Flagship Faversham Food Hall is right at the heart of where we farmed the land over 175 years ago. For many years. Macknade Farm was one of the region's leading fruit and vegetable growers, nationally renowned for its hard fruit, hops and livestock. This continued for five generations. In 1979 we opened Fir Tree P.Y.O on the corner of the family farm. In 2001 we stopped farming altogether and focus solely on retail. The first Macknade café opened in 2011. In 2013 Stefano, becomes the sixth generation to own and run Macknade. In 2016 we opened a butchery- the first PFLA counter supporting regenerative farming and focussing on traditional full carcass butchery.
n 2018 we opened 'The Deck', an outdoor dining area, which later evolves into our Food Village - a marketplace showcasing the very best food & drink from hand-picked vendors.
Discover a range of incredible produce sourced from our Kentish doorstep and further afield and shop from one the largest ranges of cheese & charcuterie available anywhere in the UK, at our famous delicatessen counter.
Later, relax in our welcoming café, or soak up the vibes in our Food Village, whilst enjoying delicious dishes & drinks with family and friends, made using the fantastic ingredients available in store.
