Our BrewPub, housed in a Victorian Foundry in the middle of Canterbury town centre, provides a unique and historic backdrop to our brewery and distillery. Come and see us create our beer and whisky or simply enjoy them over some scrumptious pub specialities.
Canterbury Brewers & Distillers was founded and is run by myself and my wife Jodie with help from our fantastic team. My passion is the brewing and distilling, I love concocting fabulous new flavours using natural ingredients each with a story behind them.
Our chef Henry freshly prepares all our meals in The Foundry Kitchen using local ingredients wherever possible.
Not only does he carefully craft the dishes, he also loves experimenting with sauces and interesting accompaniments.
You'll not find drinks like ours anywhere else - that's what makes us so different and to be honest, so special.
The vast majority of drinks are made here on the premises; we literally do take you on the journey from grain to glass.
From our wide selection of freshly brewed beer to our sophisticated selection of spirits; all bursting with distinct, carefully crafted flavours.
The heritage hops that provide the distinctive local flavour for this ale have been carefully grown, tended and harvested by the campus community at Canterbury Christ Church University, which is part of the Canterbury World Heritage Site, and is situated in what was once the outer precincts of St Augustine’s Abbey.
